LTO TO OPEN EXTENSION OFFICE IN ZAMBOANGA NORTE

ZAMBOANGA CITY — To bring the government service closer to the people, Regional Director Aminola “Alex” P. Abaton of Land Transportation Office-Region IX (LTO-IX) and Zamboanga del Norte 1st Dist. Representative Romeo M. Jalosjos Jr. convened recently in Dapitan City to discuss matters relating to the implementation of the Department Order to open an LTO Extension Office in the heart of the 1st District of Zamboanga del Norte.

Along with LTO Sindangan Extension Office Chief Agakhan Marmay, Law Enforcement and Operations Chief Alizar Maniri, and other proponents, they conducted a site inspection near Gloria’s Fantasyland, Dapitan City, where the extension office will be constructed.

Congressman Jalosjos Jr. said, “Most of the road users here in the 1st Congressional District of Zamboanga del Norte are motorcycle riders. Sad to say, some of them ay hindi nagrerehistro ng motor vehicle at walang lisensya. Because of the obvious reason that it will take them too much time and effort.”

The Land Transportation Office IX acknowledges the call to build an LTO Extension Office in Zamboanga del Norte. We are more than happy to extend our services to the people here in Dapitan City. (RSO)
