JOLO, Sulu — The 25-year old alumnus of the Mindanao State University in Sulu is all set to tie the knot with his long time fiancée in a holy matrimony to be officiated by an Imam on Saturday the 24th of July 2021 (14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1442) in a traditional rites to be held at the Phase 1 of Hassiman Subdivision in Tanjung, Indanan, Sulu.
The groom Mohaider “Yummie” Jannaral Kairan is the son of Hadji Kairan Mohammad Suhaili and Dr. Radzma Jannaral-Suhaili, the former Vice Chancellor of MSU-Sulu.
RIGHT: CROWNED MS. UNIVERSITY: To prove that she possesses “beauty and brain,” Kaye who is a Cum Laude graduate of MSU-Sulu is crowned as Ms. University besting other equally gorgeous and beautiful 15 candidates in the Beauty Pageant conducted in 2013.
The 24-year old bride, Khar-Diya “Kaye” Alfad Abbas is the daughter of the late Jumala Jadi Abbas and Nur-Aina Alfad-Abbas of Kasanyangan Village, Jolo, Sulu. She is the 4th child among the 6 children and was born on 18th of June 1996 to the loving Abbas couple in the above village.
Both groom and bride are educationally, spiritually, and emotionally prepared to raise a happy family.
Cum Laude loves Cum Laude
Yummie graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education from the Mindanao State University-Sulu.
He was born on the 14th of June 1995 at Camp Asturias, Jolo, Sulu.
He is a Certified Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LET) passer in 2017.
Yummie is one of the achievers of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL) eligibility and became an International Online teacher for Chinese students.
He also handled a Summer Bridging Program to Polythecnic University of the Philippines (PUP) students at MSU-Sulu.
He is likewise one of the lecturers in LET Review Classes at the College of Education (COED), MSU-Sulu.
Yummie attended his Kindergarten schooling at the Notre Dame of Asturias and his grade school at Notre Dame Walled City in Jolo, Sulu.
Yummie has obtained 42 units in Bachelor of Laws (LlB) from the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) College of Law in Zamboanga City.
On the other hand, Kaye graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Education, Major in English.
Yummie is also a good writer where he served as Editor-in-Chief of Gazette Publication for 2 years.
Just like Yummie, Kaye is also a Certified LET Passer.
She finished her primary schooling at the Kasanyangan Elementary School in Jolo, Sulu.
Kaye obtained her High School diploma from the Notre Dame of Jolo for Girls in Academic Year 2012.
By having a beauty and brain, Kaye was crowned as the first ever Ms University 2013 during the search held at the Mindanao State University on February 28,2013 besting 15 others equally gorgeous ladies during her freshman year.
She was a consistent student writer for 4 years of the COED Gazette Publication, Official Student Publication of the College of Education.
Love Affair in Retrospect
Just like any other co-ed Yummie and Kaye had also love affair to reckon with.
It was during their 2nd year in College at the College of Education in MSU-Sulu when eyes met the eyes.
However, the love affair has blossomed on their 3rd year in College until they finally graduated both with high honors.
Back during their freshman year, as cited earlier it was just eyes met the eyes. In other words it was merely getting to know each other’s first.
Finally their fates have crossed one another, until finally on Saturday the 24th of July 2021 or equivalent to 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1442, the Imam will pronounce them as “husband and wife.” Congratulations Yummie and Kaye as you walk along the path of Roses where both your parents are so happy and proud that you finally take the road to happiness and prosperity in life as well as bonded husband and wife until forever!
