MARAWI CITY — The municipal government of Buadiposo Buntong in Lanao del Sur has been recognized as one of the 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping Passers.

The Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) recognizes compliance of Local Government Units (LGUs) with accounting and auditing standards, rules, and regulations, as certified by the Bureau of Local Government Supervision of Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

GFH affirms that an LGU had spent and audited its public funds completely and with full transparency.

The Municipality of Buadiposo-Buntong is a 4th class municipality in the province of Lanao del Sur composed of 33 barangays (villages).

According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 18,046 people, representing 1.51% of the total population of its mother province, Lanao del Sur.

Buadiposo Buntong Mayor Noron “Hayanisah” Guinar Dadayan expressed gratitude to the municipal officials including Vice Mayor Norhosniya Macarampat Landua, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan and hardworking municipal employees without which this achievement would not be realized.
