MILG chief back to work

COTABATO CITY — After coming back from an official trip abroad, the minister of the Interior and Local Government is back to his work as a Bangsamoro public official.

Minister Naguib Sinarimbo led on Wednesday the Groundbreaking ceremony with Mayor Cahar Ibay of Parang for the construction of 5 Barangay Halls in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte.

Minister Sinarimbo also spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony with Mayor Abdul Rauf Tomawis of Barira for the construction of 4 Barangay Halls in Barira, Maguindanao del Norte.

He also also handed over to the municipal government of Barira and the Bureau of Fire Protection 1 unit of brand new Fire truck complete with equipment for the Municipal Fire Station of Barira.

The Bangsamoro Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Al Haj Murad Ebrahim will continue to deliver services to our constituent LGUs and other allied offices to ensure that our people receive the best services they deserve.

Earlier at the Bangsamoro Government Center, the MILG Minister also handed over to the Human Rights Office and the Legal Services of the Police PNP PRO-BAR computer sets and other equipment “to enhance their capacity to serve and protect our people.”

“We also provided the PRO BAR a firetruck to secure their buildings and facilities at the PRO BAR, Camp Salipada K. Pendatun. They will also augment our BFP Station in Parang,” emphasized the Minister.

The Regional Director, Police BGen John Guyguyon led the Team from PRO BARMM.

In his office, Sinarimbo received the delegation of JICA from its Tokyo Headquarters composed of Mr. Aoki Nobuhiko, Deputy Director for Southeast Asia Division, Mr. Shinguchi Shintaro, Hori Kohei, the Project Formulation Advisor of JICA Mindanao Section and his long time friend Nauyoki Naoyuki Ochiai, Chief JICA Advisor to the Chief Minister.
