THE BANGSAMORO government has announced on Thursday evening (April 20, 2023) that the hilal or new moon has not been sighted tonight and Eid’l Fitri will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

“I hereby announce that our celebration of Eid’l Fitr will be on Saturday, first of Shawwal 1444, corresponding to 22 April 2023,

Bangsamoro Mufti Abuhuraira Udasan in an official announcement online said, “I hereby announce that our celebration of Eid’l Fitr will be on Saturday, first of Shawwal 1444, corresponding to 22 April 2023,

Clearly, the celebration of the Eid’l Fitr will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
