BARMM Senior Minister Maslamama takes oath; pledges to work for ‘progressive Bangsamoro’

ABUNAWAS “Von Al-Haq” Maslamama has been officially sworn into office on Monday, April 24, as senior minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), according to the Bangsamoro Information Office (BIO), the region’s information arm.

BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim administered the oath-taking at his office at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City witnessed by key BARMM officials including Deputy Senior Minister Abdullah Cusain, and media personnel, BIO stated.

The BIO further said Maslamama expressed gratitude and thanks to Chief Minister Ebrahim and the rest of the companions in the government of the day for entrusting the position and doing the work of Senior Minister.

“Rest assured that I will work properly, progressively, and fruitfully within the dictates of my mandates,” he said.

Maslamama was deputy minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) before assuming the Office of the Senior Minister of BARMM.

“I am reiterating that I will perform my duties and responsibilities to the best of my abilities which is within the ambit of the Senior Minister’s directives,” BIO quoted Maslamama as saying.
