This initiative aligns with Republic Act 11302, known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act, which mandates the simplification and efficiency of government services to enhance the experience for businesses and consumers alike.

Famelah Racquel Villanueva, the provincial director of DTI-Bukidnon, emphasized the importance of making its services more accessible to the public.

“This digitalization project by the Consumer Protection Division brings our services closer to clients,” she said.

At a media briefing, DTI-Bukidnon’s Consumer Protection Division Chief Junar Merla emphasized the convenience offered by the online project.

“DTI has streamlined its services. Skip the trip and register your business name online. Now you can access consumer protection services too, all from the comfort of your home,” he said.

The CPD Digitalization Project promises to revolutionize how consumers and businesses interact with DTI-Bukidnon, ensuring faster and more efficient service delivery.

This shift towards digital services will significantly reduce the time and effort required to access various consumer protection and business registration services, fostering a more business-friendly environment in the province.

By leveraging digital technology, DTI aims to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce bureaucratic delays, and improve overall service efficiency, ultimately benefiting consumers and businesses. (BGEpan, PIA 10-Bukidnon)
