A former bank manager and finance officer of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has been appointed acting chairman and chief executive officer of Al-Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines.

Amilbahar P. Amilasan Jr., deputy minister of BARMM’s finance, budget and management ministry, is also appointed as member of the Islamic bank board of directors.

Amilhasan Jr. is also former branch manager of Metrobank in Cotabato City. (PR)
