I
Nothing wrong with yearning for elective post
So long people’s right we don’t oppress
But to serve them must be our top priority
So we can be saved from torment on Judgment Day
II
Indeed leaders need to uphold their sworn duties
Through best and worst times shall stolidly defend the Homeland
A leader who has sense of love; who can be relied upon by his constituents
To his Lord, there’s absolute fear in his heart
III
But it must be etched in their minds and hearts
It’s not solely leaders who would heal the Land
All citizens in their capacity must sustain it at all cost
Every citizen in the community must strive to be morally upright
IV
Upon the vast seas seemingly we set out paddling
Everyone on board is obliged to fulfill their duty
To add no more to the emotional agony is big help already
So to our destination safe we shall arrive safely
V
So long you’re aboard, never go against the tide
So to “ruway bullud”, dear, we won’t be swept away
It would be enough to simply just drift
If Allāh permit, our goal we shall reach
