BUBONG, Lanao del Sur – The Schools’ Division of Lanao del Sur-I under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Sahanee Macarampat-Sumagayan has successfully held on Saturday, March 2, its 2024 Division Festival of Talents at Datu Mamintal Adiong Sr. Memorial National High School in this town.

The festival’s theme, “Galing, Talino, at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa at Matatag na Adhika,” showcased the exceptional talents and skills of its young learners.

The festival received distinguished recognition with the presence of Soraida B. Noor, PhD, regional consultant of Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) who served as the guest of honor.

In her address, Guest Speaker Noor emphasized the significance of the Festival of Talents as a platform for learners to showcase their diverse talents and skills across various learning areas.

In addition, she commended the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to continue honing their abilities.

SDS Sumagayan echoed similar sentiments, and highlighted the event’s importance as a stepping stone to the regional level.

She urged coaches and participants to strive for excellence while embodying the spirit of sportsmanship.

Throughout the contest, learners captivated the audience with their impressive performances and outstanding execution with their relentless dedication and hard work.

The event culminated in the afternoon filled with excitement and anticipation as winners were awarded for their achievements.

Elementary Level:
Overall Champion: Masiu I District
Overall 1st Runner-Up: Wao 2 District
Overall 2nd Runner-Up: Ditsaan Ramain District
Overall 3rd Runner-Up: Marantao I District

Secondary Level:
Overall Champion: DATU MAMINTAL ADIONG Sr. MNHS.
Overall 1st Runner-up: BUBONGA-MARANTAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.
Overall 2nd Runner-up: AMAI MANABILANG MNHS.

The winners will represent the Division in the upcoming Regional Festival of Talents.

SDS Sumagayan extended her heartfelt appreciation to the prime movers of the event, namely ASDS Dr. Mombao B. Abdul, EPS Boniarah U. Mustapha, PhD, EPS Tasnimah N. Mampao, PhD, Science Supervisor Sairalyn T. Mimbantas, MAEd, and their dedicated program coordinators for their tireless efforts in organizing a memorable and successful Festival of Talents.

Sumagayan also congratulated all participants, coaches, school heads, division facilitators, and division officials for their exemplary contributions to the event’s success.
